GLYPH was formed in 2005 when Robby asked Antox to joining his project with RiezQ, and officially founded in September 17th in the same year while they had having only 15 minutes on the backstage to decide their band's name before their first live performance. As the several changing in bassist position was happened up to 2011 since were formed, GLYPH had been having a random and disorganized changes in influences, style and genre of their own self-made music composition and the bands that they tributed too. Their first complete formation in 2010, RiezQ(Guitar and Vox), Robby (Guitar and Vox), Yudhie (Bass), and Antox (Drums) had found the basic genre of this band as the mixes of Old-School Heavy Metal with a Nu-Metal Sound and style that they called it "High Voltage Rock" and had winning several music competition in their region. After RiezQ and Yudhie left in 2010, GLYPH had release a demo-version album "Hero-GLYPH", with Robby fill the lead vocals. In 2011 Bem-bem (Bass) - whose a jazzy-style influenced - was asked to join in GLYPH and he confirmed in seconds. ;D In this year, GLYPH had been to be a runner-up of a national music competition. During that year until now, GLYPH officially a trio-band with a additional help of several guitarist, mostly with Verry (Abatoar, Inheritors). And finally, GLYPH first complete full-album titled "Retreat Hell" was released in September 9th 2015, of which some songs were repackaging-version of "Hero-GLYPH" album songs and added with the fresh ones.
