D’Ark Legal Society is a 4-piece alternative metal band from Jakarta, Indonesia. D’Ark Legal Society or usually known as D.L.S. was formed in 2007 as a grunge band. D’Ark Legal Society are Mattheus Aditirtono (Bass and Vocal), Aldo Kosim (Guitar, Backing Vocal), Casey Renaldy (Guitar) and Bistok Simangunsong (Drums). They released their first album in 2015 after a three years hiatus from 2011-2014. The first album, Fruit of Chaos (2015) is the first album that revolve the vibe of alternative metal in the sound of D’Ark Legal Society. Moreover, They have also released another EP in 2017 entitled (Simulacra), in this EP D.L.S. keep involving and formulating a diverse yet subtle sound between progressive and alternative metal. D.L.S. has played various local and international shows. Moreover, D.L.S. has participated in several band competition such as Hard Rock Rising Battle of the Bands (finished 2nd), and Planetrox by Envol et Macadam Festival (1st Winner).
