Lewd Leopard is a noise-rock band from Bandung. Lewd Leopard was reformed in late of 2015 with new members on bass and drum. The name Lewd Leopard is inspired by naughtiness of people. We shaped it as a lewd and leopard as a symbol of an animal of this band. We took lewd as a symbol of courage and freedom of expression and leopard as a symbol of a wild animal that present this band. Lewd Leopard’s music was inspired by rock sound of Led Zeppelin, The Black Keys, BRMC, Band of Skull, and The Dead Weather. Basically Lewd Leopard has a noise-rock sound, but it is combined other genres of sound such as ethnic, neo-psychedelia, blues-rock, post-rock, and garage-rock.
